The side and rear windows have been tinted, and a high-mount brake light is located in the rear window. Staggered 17″ RUF wheels measuring 9″ wide up front and 10″ wide at the rear were installed in February 2021 and wear Yokohama Advan Fleva tires. The car rides on RUF-supplied Bilstein shocks and springs, and braking is handled by slotted and cross-drilled four-wheel discs with black calipers. The brake system was serviced with replacement hoses and fluids in February 2021.
The cabin features power-adjustable and heated sports seats upholstered in Grey Beige leather along with matching door panels and carpets as well as a black dash and turbo-embroidered floor mats. Equipment includes air conditioning, an alarm system, power windows, a Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo and cassette player, and RUF pedals. An air conditioning system recharge and replacement of the blower motor were carried out in December 2020.
The suede-wrapped RUF steering wheel frames a RUF 210-mph speedometer and tachometer, a boost-pressure gauge, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 37k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added during current ownership. The speedometer was repaired in March 2021. Total mileage is unknown.
The turbocharged and intercooled RUF BTR-spec 3.4L flat-six features modified pistons, cylinders, and camshafts and was rated at 374 horsepower when new. A four-pipe exhaust system has been added. Service in preparation for sale included replacement of the fuel pressure accumulator and both fuel pumps, fuel pump relays and check valve, and distributor as well as an oil change. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch cable was adjusted in February 2021.
The included Porsche Certificate of Authenticity shows equipment and colors as well as a production completion date of November 27, 1985
