Factory 16″ five-spoke wheels measure 8″ in width up front and 10″ out back and are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle VR50 tires bearing 1987 date codes. The wheel hubs were changed from a single-lug to a five-bolt pattern halfway through 1988 model-year production. The braking system was serviced and the fluid was flushed in 2021.
The seats are upholstered with beige leather, while contrasting brown leather covers the dashboard, center console, and door-panel armrests. Features include Ferrari-branded door sill trim, power windows, and a gated shifter with a dogleg five-speed pattern. An Alpine AM/FM cassette stereo is mounted behind a pop-up door in the center of the dashboard.
Veglia Borletti instrumentation consists of a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Just under 5k miles miles are shown on the six-digit mechanical odometer, approximately 30 of which were added by the selling dealer. The Carfax report lists a mileage inconsistency in September 1989 and an odometer reading of 5,445 miles, though it may be the result of a clerical error. A service record from October 1989 lists mileage at 3,305 and is shown in the gallery below.
The mid-mounted 4.9L 48-valve flat-12 developed a factory-rated output of 380 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque for the North American market. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a dogleg five-speed manual transaxle.
An invoice from Cauley Ferrari of Detroit in West Bloomfield, Michigan totaling $9,269 details service that was performed in 2021, with work including replacement of the timing belts, idler bearings, gaskets, and drive belts, as well as fluid changes and servicing and adjustment of the clutch. Factory books and service manuals are also included in the sale along with a tool kit and keys.
