The US-spec DP 935 I conversion kit included flat-front vented fenders with pop-up headlights, a 930S-style bumper with integrated fog lamps, side strakes, revised skirts, and flared rear fenders. Ducts for the front oil cooler and brakes were also included along with front and rear spoilers and dual side mirrors.
The car came from the factory finished in Guards Red and was repainted subsequent to the completion of bodywork modifications carried out by DP. Features include a black canvas top that was replaced in 2020, a matching boot cover, and DP Motorsport graphics on the side skirts and rear spoiler.
Three-piece 15″ BBS basketweave wheels with gold centers and polished lips are wrapped in Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires showing 2021 date codes. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes that were fitted with Bigg Red calipers in 2016. Both tie rods were replaced in 2004.
Power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in black leather along with the dash pad, door panels, and carpeting. Red contrast panels accent the lower dash and center console. Appointments include fold-down rear seats, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, central locking, and a Kenwood cassette receiver. Carpets in the cabin and front trunk are protected by black mats with red DP935 embroidery.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a DP-branded 200-mph speedometer and a VDO tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline. The six-digit odometer shows 50k miles, approximately 15 of which were driven by the selling dealer.
The air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six is equipped with Bosch Motronic fuel injection and was rated at 214 horsepower when new. Service in February 2022 included changing the oil and replacing the battery, ignition coil, and fuel pump.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential.
The car is accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Production, a DP conversion certificate, a window sticker, historical correspondence, shipping and import documents, and service records.
