Staggered-width 16″ Fuchs-style wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires, and work in 2020 reportedly included replacing the splined wheel hubs, front wheel bearings, and brake calipers. The seller notes that no spare is included and that the brake system requires bleeding.
The suspension has been modified with Bilstein rally front struts, Von Level 2 sealed gas shock inserts for adjustable ride height, decambered ball joints, an RSR-style hollow rear sway bar, a rear CamberMax adjustment kit, Elephant Racing QuickChange camber plates, 22mm torsion bars, and strut braces. Bump steer and tire rub prevention kits were fitted along with Turbo tie rods, and reinforcements have been added to the the rear crossmember, front sway bar, and spring plates.
Manually-adjustable bucket seats with black cloth upholstery were installed under current ownership along with a Trax Plus radio and a custom audio system with replacement speakers and a subwoofer that was installed in lieu of the rear seats. JL Audio amplifiers have been been fitted in the front trunk. The floor mats have been replaced, and in April 2021 the air-conditioning system was serviced. Other features include cruise control, a sunroof, power windows, and an aluminum throttle-pedal cover. A previously installed harness support bar and four-point racing harness are included in the sale.
A leather-wrapped Nardi Personal steering wheel wheel frames VDO instrumentation that includes a central tachometer, a 165-mph speedometer, combination gauges, and an analog clock. The six-digit odometer shows 153k miles, approximately 3k of which have been added by the current owner.
The 3.2-liter flat-six is equipped with Bosch fuel injection and was rated at 217 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque when new. An engine-out service by German Performance Options in 2020 included replacing the timing chain guides, spark plugs, rocker arms, oil tank and pressure senders as well as various sensors, hoses, gaskets, and seals. The battery was replaced in August 2020, while during April 2021 the oil was changed and the drive belts were replaced.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed Getrag G50 transaxle with a Wavetrac limited-slip differential. A Spec flywheel and clutch assembly were installed under previous ownership, and additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
