The sports seats with partial power adjustment are trimmed in black partial leather upholstery, and the car was factory-equipped with a 10mm-higher passenger’s seat. The leather-wrapped steering wheel with a Porsche badge frames a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset boost gauge, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows under 24k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The numbers-matching turbocharged 3.3-liter M930/68 flat-six was rated at 282 horsepower when new. Parts replaced under current ownership are said to have included the capacitive discharge ignition module, ignition coil, internal blow-off valve seals, and the fuel accumulator.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle with a factory limited-slip differential.
The included Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists colors, equipment, and a production completion date of November 12, 1987. It has been determined that there is an error on the certificate and the incorrect engine number and transmission number are listed. The correct component numbers are displayed on a communication from Paul Miller Porsche in Parsippany, New Jersey, which is shown at the end of the image gallery.
