Steel 14″ wheels wear Volkswagen-branded covers and are mounted with Uniroyal Rain Max tires. The van is equipped with power steering as well as independent front suspension.
The forward cabin features captain’s chairs upholstered in patterned gray cloth with vinyl sides. Equipment includes a Behr heater, a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer media player, and rubber floor mats. Holes are noted in the dash.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 180-km/h speedometer and a clock with inset auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 318k kilometers (~198k miles), approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The right-rear door opens to reveal a camper area equipped with two rows of bench seating that fold into a bed. The van features a bathroom with a shower, a water heater, and a Thetford portable toilet. Additional amenities include a roller mosquito net, side window curtains, a kitchenette with cabinets, a refrigerator, and a diesel auxiliary heater. The sink is inoperative.
The 2.4-liter turbodiesel inline-six sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Work performed in preparation for the sale reportedly included replacing the timing belt and changing the oil for the engine and transaxle.
