The Pininfarina-designed 512 TR was introduced as the updated successor to the Testarossa in 1991, with revisions that included restyled bumper covers as well as revised wheels and lighting. This example is finished in Nero and features pop-up headlights, fog lights, side intake strakes, body-color rocker panels, and quad exhaust outlets. Paint chips are noted on forward-facing surfaces, and the right headlight housing is scratched. Paint-correction and ceramic-coating services were reportedly performed in preparation for the sale.

Silver 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are said to have been refinished under current ownership and are mounted with 235/40 front and 285/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires showing 2019 date codes. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated and cross-drilled discs. Curb damage is noted on the right-rear wheel, and the shock absorbers were rebuilt in January 2022, per the seller. A brake fluid flush was performed in February 2023, and dyno charts for the dampers are provided in the gallery.
The cabin was trimmed from the factory in black, and the seats, lower dash, and door panels were recovered in beige leather in 2018, at which time the center console, carpets, headliner, and various trim components were also replaced with color-coordinated units. Interior appointments include motorized seat belts, a rear window defroster, power windows, Cavallino-embossed backrests, an aftermarket blower controller, an Alpine stereo, and a Hill Engineering shift gate, knob, and steering column spacers. The air conditioning refrigerant was recharged and the parking light switch was repaired in February 2023.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation including a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,200-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. An analog clock and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and oil temperature are housed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows just under 36k miles, approximately 3,200 of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.9-liter DOHC flat-12 received updates over the version used in the Testarossa including Nikasil cylinder liners, a redesigned intake system, and Bosch engine management. Output was rated at 421 horsepower and 362 lb-ft of torque when new. An aftermarket starter solenoid has been installed, and the car passed an emissions inspection in November 2021. An engine-out service was carried out in preparation for the sale and included adjusting the valves, flushing the clutch hydraulic fluid, and replacing the following components:
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
