Silver 17″ magnesium Cup wheels are mounted with 205/50 front and 255/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires showing 2022 date codes. The Carrera RS’s ride height is lower than that of the standard 964, and it also features stiffer springs and adjustable anti-sway bars. Stopping power is provided by an anti-lock system featuring black four-piston calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
The cockpit features fixed-back manually adjustable Recaro seats with harness pass-throughs trimmed in black leather with multi-tone blue inserts, which match the door pulls and seatbelts. The rear seats, electric windows, radio, air conditioning, and sound insulation were deleted on Carrera RS models.
The four-spoke RS-branded steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 300-km/h speedometer, a quarz clock, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 25k kilometers (~15k miles).
The 3.6-liter M64/03 flat-six came equipped with a lightened flywheel and was factory rated at 256 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque, an increase of nine horsepower and 11 lb-ft of torque over the standard 964 Carrera.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a G50/10 five-speed manual transaxle that features closer gear ratios, steel synchronizers, and an asymmetrical limited-slip differential.
Porsche Production Specifications certificate lists a production completion date of June 1992 as well as factory colors and optional equipment.
