Silver 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 215/50 up front and 255/45 out back. The Serie Speciale featured a 50mm wider rear track compared to the standard 348. Stopping power is provided by Ferrari-branded calipers over ventilated discs along with an anti-lock system, and the brake fluid was flushed in November 2022. Curb rash is present on the front-right wheel.
The cabin features two seats upholstered in beige Connolly leather along with a matching lower dashboard, center console, and door panel accents. Equipment includes a dogleg-pattern gated shifter, air conditioning, a heated rear window, and power windows and door locks. Each 348 Serie Speciale featured an individually numbered plate on the passenger door jamb. The window lifters operate slowly, and the seller reports the front hood latch, stereo, and driver-side sliding seatbelt mechanism are inoperable. Photos included in the gallery show wear on the driver seat’s bolster and door handles, the latter of which have reportedly been refinished.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation including a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and oil pressure. Auxiliary gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 7k miles, a handful of which have been added by the seller.
The 3.4-liter quad-cam Tipo F119 V8 features Bosch Motronic engine management and was factory rated at 312 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. Photos included in the gallery detail an engine-out belt service that was performed by Maranello Autosport of Eustis, Florida, in November 2022. The fuse panel, fuel pump, coolant, engine oil, and air conditioning refrigerant were replaced at that time.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential with a shorter final-drive ratio than the standard 348.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Midwestern Auto Group as well as factory equipment, colors, and a total price of $117,700. The sale also includes owner’s manuals, a maintenance log, service records, and a tool kit.
