During the refurbishment in Brazil the bodywork was disassembled, removed from the frame, and repainted in Rutland Red. Features include a snorkel intake system, black fender flares, mud flaps at each corner, alpine windows, tail light guards, and side steps. During the refurbishment in Brazil the bodywork was disassembled, removed from the frame, and repainted in Rutland Red. Features include a snorkel intake system, black fender flares, mud flaps at each corner, alpine windows, tail light guards, and side steps. Exterior components replaced during the refurbishment include glass panels and seals, the front bumper, front grille, headlight surrounds, door lock assemblies, and door hinges, in addition to installation of LED lighting all around. Sawtooth-style 16″ alloy wheels are finished in black and wear 265/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, with a full size matching spare wheel and tire mounted on the tailgate. The braking and suspension systems were overhauled at the time of refurbishment, which involved replacement of all suspension components, including all bushings, ball joints, and springs, and installation of aftermarket spring, as well as a Bilstein steering damper and shock absorbers. The braking system was also overhauled with a replacement brake master cylinder, reservoir, hoses, and all four wheel bearings and seals.
The interior features seating surfaces upholstered in black leather with matching door panels, along with black Exmoor Trim carpeting and door sills. Additional equipment consists of an aftermarket touchscreen stereo mated to JBL speakers and equipped with navigation, smartphone integration, and a rear-view camera. Components replaced during the refurbishment included the headlight switch, defroster switch, turn signal stalk, seat belt locks, and grab handles.
The padded leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a replacement 120-mph speedometer and a mechanical odometer showing just under 800 miles, with total mileage unknown. The seller notes that the fuel gauge was also replaced along with the instrument panel fascia and surrounding cowl.
The 2.5-liter 200Tdi inline-four was refreshed during the refurbishment, which included replacement of the following:
Power is sent to all-four wheels through a replacement R380 five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. During the refurbishment, the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder were replaced, and the power steering system was overhauled with a rebuilt steering box and replacement bushings and tie rods.
During the refurbishment the frame and suspension components were sand blasted and refinished in black. The front and rear axles were also overhauled, which included replacement of the differential seals, driveshaft universal joints, and various gaskets, washers, and pins. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Indiana between its first entry in August 2019 and its most recent entry in December 2019.
