The Clubsport model featured stiffer suspension with a 20mm-lower ride height when compared with the standard 968, and this example is equipped with cross-drilled rotors and Porsche-script black-finished calipers at each corner.
The Club Sport was approximately 200 pounds lighter than the standard 968, in part due to the deletion of the rear seats and sound deadening. A Heigo bolt-in six-point roll cage has been added to the cabin of this example, and the Recaro RS bucket seats are trimmed in black fabric with yellow hard backs. Additional amenities include air conditioning, a factory cassette stereo with a trunk-mounted Blaupunkt CD changer, and a fire extinguisher located in the passenger footwell.
A leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames a 300-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates 57k kilometers (35k miles).
The 3.0-liter inline-four is equipped with an aftermarket exhaust system and was factory rated at 237 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. The battery and cooling fans have been replaced in the last year, while a new timing belt assembly, water pump, accessory drive belt, and front camshaft and crankshaft seals were installed and an oil change was performed in June 2021 by European Auto Center of Miami, Florida.
