The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench that were reupholstered with gray vinyl and are joined by a replacement dash, headliner, and door panels. Additional amenities include a Rovers North air conditioning system, a Sony head unit, and a lockable center console. The windshield wiper switch was replaced under current ownership.
A two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 150-km/h speedometer, a coolant temperature gauge, a fuel level gauge, and warning lamps. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 261k kilometers (~162k miles), approximately 5k of which were added by the seller.
The 2.5-liter 300Tdi turbodiesel inline-four is said to have been steam-cleaned prior to reinstallation, and additional work performed as part of the refurbishment reportedly included replacing the timing belt and coolant hoses.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels via an R380 five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The front differential is said to have been refurbished as part of the build in addition to installation of a replacement rear differential.
The frame was reportedly media blasted and painted prior to reassembly. Photos provided in the gallery show various stages of the refurbishment process.
The included British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate shows that the truck a was built on April 25, 1995, and dispatched to Land Rover Italy S.P.A. Military Sales.
