The 16″ OZ Racing wheels are mounted with 205/50 Bridgestone B’Style EX tires. A black-painted spare wheel with a Toyo temporary use tire is stowed beneath the trunk floor. The Evo IV features a MacPherson front suspension and a double-wishbone-based multilink rear suspension that was developed for the model. Stopping power is provided by anti-lock discs at all four corners.
The right-hand-drive cabin features bolstered Recaro front seats and a rear bench upholstered in gray cloth with red patterned inserts. Matching door panels are fitted, and equipment includes power windows, automatic climate control, and a Sony CD player.
The MOMO airbag steering wheel frames white-dial instruments including a 180-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows 67k kilometers (~42k miles).
The turbocharged and intercooled 2.0-liter 4G63 inline-four was factory rated at 276 horsepower. A September 2022 service included the installation of a new timing belt, water pump, thermostat, idle air control valve, temperature sensor, spark plugs, belts, and an intercooler hose. The valve cover was also powder-coated at that time.
