The Turbo differed visually from the standard 993 with its wider rear bodywork, revised front bumper cover, and fixed rear wing. The exterior is finished in black (L741) and features fog lights, headlight washers, a sunroof, and a rear window wiper. Paintwork on the hood and bumper cover was reportedly performed during previous ownership. The rear bumperettes and front bumper were resprayed during the seller’s ownership along with the installation of new headlights, European-market turn signal lenses, a Turbo S front spoiler, fog lights and vents, and the removal of the front bumperettes. Staggered-width 18″ wheels feature Turbo center caps and are mounted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires measuring 225/40 up front and 285/30 out back that were installed in December 2018. Standard equipment on the Turbo includes red-finished brake calipers as well as cross-drilled and vented rotors all around. European-market M030 springs and shocks were installed by Speed Gallery of North Hollywood, California, in January 2019 along with new drop links, ball joints, and brake pad sensors. The cabin features power-adjustable front seats upholstered in black leather, which extends to the dashboard, rear seats, and door panel inserts. Additional amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, and a Porsche Classic stereo with Bluetooth and navigation. A Porsche CR-1 cassette radio is included in the sale and can be seen in the gallery along with a set of black Turbo-branded floor mats.
The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline, a 200-mph speedometer, and an analog clock, as well as combination gauges monitoring fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows just over 19k miles, 2k of which were added by the selling dealer.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six was rated at 408 horsepower when new. An engine-out service performed by Speed Gallery in 2019 included new gaskets, timing chain rails, upper engine chain housing bushings, an ignition coil, spark plugs, engine mounts, a battery, and engine compartment insulation, along with a cleaning of the fuel injectors. An oil change was performed in 2020.
Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. A new clutch slave cylinder, accumulator, and throw out bearing were installed in January 2019.
The replica window sticker shows delivery to Tom Williams Porsche and lists a total price of $108,455.
