The Carrera 4S is equipped with wider rear bodywork as well as a front air dam and side skirts derived from the contemporary Turbo, and this example was ordered in Arctic Silver Metallic (L92U). Additional equipment consists of a sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The hood, bumpers, and left door were repainted to address cosmetic blemishes, and the selling dealer notes that paint protection film was recently applied to the body panels and the exterior has been ceramic coated. Staggered-width HRE Classic 305 wheels are fitted with 18″ Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, the front pair of which were installed in February 2021. Red-painted calipers and cross-drilled rotors are fitted at each corner, and the car is also equipped with Bilstein PSS10 coilover dampers, Eibach sway bars, and Tarett Engineering drop links.
The interior features eight-way power-adjustable front seats trimmed in black supple leather, and additional appointments include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Porsche short-shift kit, and a Porsche Classic stereo equipped with auxiliary inputs. A Rennline pedal set is also fitted, and the steering wheel was recovered by Dallas Custom Steering Wheel of Rowlett, Texas. The front and rear footwells feature sisal floor mats.
Instrumentation includes a 180-mph speedometer, a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 37k miles, approximately 3k of which were added by the current owner.
The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six was factory-rated at 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque when new, and power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. An oil change was performed and the oil level sender and oxygen sensors were replaced in 2021, and this example was ordered with the Motor Sound Package.

The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists colors, optional equipment, and a production completion date of August 29, 1996. Engine number 64V00977 and transmission number 2003937 listed on the certificate, and the matching engine stamping ☆64V00977☆ is shown in the gallery below along with the matching transaxle stamping number.
