The 993 C2S featured wider bodywork, a split rear grille, and revised bumper covers and side skirts in comparison with the contemporary Carrera. This example is finished in Black Metallic and features headlight washers, fog lights, power-adjustable mirrors, a power-operated sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. An October 2017 entry on the Carfax report notes minor damage to the left side of the car, and a May 2023 entry indicates the car again received minor damage, with no further details provided. The 18″ Turbo Twist wheels are mounted with 225/40 front and 285/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded calipers and cross-drilled rotors, and the suspension system has been fitted with Bilstein shocks. Scratches on the rear wheels can be viewed in the gallery.
The power-adjustable front seats as well as the folding rear seats are upholstered in beige leather, accompanied by a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpeting. Additional appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, central locking, power windows, and a Porsche CR-210 cassette stereo. Worn and discolored seat upholstery is depicted in the gallery.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 61k miles, approximately 12k of which were added under current ownership.
The air-cooled 3.6L M64 flat-six features a VarioRam intake system and was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. The alternator and associated drive belts were replaced in 2020. The spark plugs, ignition coils, and various seals were replaced in October 2022, and additional work included resurfacing the valve seats, cleaning the valve guides, adjusting the valves, and performing an oil change. The battery was replaced in March 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle. The clutch and flywheel were replaced in October 2022.
