The 993 Turbo featured wider bodywork, revised bumper covers, and a fixed rear spoiler to accommodate top-mount intercoolers when compared with the standard 993 coupe. This example is finished in Black Metallic (L744) and features headlights with washers, integrated fog lights, a rear window wiper, and polished exhaust outlets. The 18″ Turbo Technology hollow-spoke wheels feature Turbo-script center caps and are mounted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires. The car features an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and the 993 was the first 911 to feature multi-link rear suspension. Braking is provided by Porsche-branded four-piston calipers over cross-drilled rotors.
The heated seats are upholstered in black supple leather, and matching leather extends to the dashboard, door panels, and center console. Amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Blaupunkt stereo linked with a Digital Sound module.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 320-km/h speedometer, an analog Quarz clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 29k kilometers (~18k miles).
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six was optioned with the X50 Turbo Power Kit which utilized K22 turbochargers, an additional oil cooler, and an adapted ECU to produce approximately 430 horsepower, a 30 horsepower increase over the standard 993 Turbo. Work in Germany in November 2022 is noted to have included fluids services and replacing the battery, fuel pump, and air filters.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
