The turbine-style 19” wheels wear 255/35 front and 295/30 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that were installed by Mercedes-Benz of Raleigh, North Carolina, in January 2021. A brake fluid flush was performed in January 2021.
The cockpit features carbon-fiber-backed bucket seats trimmed in optional Silver Arrow “300SL” red leather, and matching upholstery extends to the door panel inserts, center console, and dashboard. Contrasting black leather accents the dashboard and door panels, and black carpets are fitted. The car was optioned with large-sized driver and passenger seats. Additional equipment includes dual-zone climate control, cruise control, and a shift knob-mounted starter button.
The multi-function steering wheel frames McLaren-branded instrumentation including a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline. The digital odometer shows under 4,200 miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership.
The front-mid-mounted 5.4-liter AMG V8 features all-aluminum construction, 24 valves, dry-sump lubrication, and a Lysholm-type twin-screw supercharger. Power output was rated at 617 horsepower with 575 lb-ft of torque when new. A new air injection pump and batteries were installed in January 2021, and an oil change was also performed.
Power is sent to the rear wheels by an AMG Speedshift five-speed automatic transmission. A new a fuel tank vent line assembly was installed in January 2021.
