The car is equipped with active handling and traction control systems, and a VMS lowering kit has been installed in the rear. Braking is handled by red Corvette-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated discs at each corner. The seller states that service performed during current ownership involved a brake fluid flush and replacement of the rear sway bar links.
The cabin features heated bucket seats trimmed in black and red leather upholstery joined by a black dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. The 2LZ Preferred Equipment Group added seat memory settings, auto-dimming mirrors, a power-adjustable steering column, a Bose sound system, Homelink, and side airbags. Additional amenities include Keyless Access, push-button start, a head-up display, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and an aftermarket Boss touchscreen stereo with navigation. The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates under 70k miles, approximately 400 of which have been added during current ownership.
A replacement 440ci LSX V8 was installed during previous ownership and is said to have been built by Excessive Racing Engines of Pearland, Texas. The engine has been tuned to run on E85 fuel. Additional modifications reportedly include the following components:
Service carried out in preparation for the sale is said to have included an oil change and replacement of the spark plugs , air conditioning fan connector, and fan control module. The seller notes a rattling sound from the exhaust system when shutting down the car.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional modifications installed during previous ownership reportedly include a carbon synchro set, a McLeod RXT Street Twin clutch kit and flywheel, ARP flywheel bolts, and Tick Performance master and secondary clutch cylinders with quick bleeders. Fluid flushes for the transmission, clutch, and differential was reportedly carried out in preparation for the sale.
