Factory 17″ wheels wear 215/45 front and 255/40 rear Bridgestone Potenza RE070 tires bearing 2007 date codes. The Club Racer model features higher-rate springs, stiffer anti-roll bars, and a quicker steering ratio compared to the standard AP2 S2000, and it is also equipped with anti-lock brakes and stability control.
The cabin features CR seats clad in black Alcantara with yellow inserts and stitching, the latter of which is also found on the steering wheel, shift boot, and door panels. The Club Racer was not equipped with a radio or air conditioning from the factory, although this example has been fitted with a Kenwood Bluetooth-capable stereo. Additional amenities include cruise control, S2000-branded floor mats, and an aluminum shift knob.
Instrumentation consists of a 9k-rpm tachometer, a digital speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. A yellow accent line runs under the light-bar tachometer in the CR, and a “peak power indicator” light is located to the right of the digital speedometer. The digital odometer indicates under 9k miles, approximately 50 of which were added during current ownership.
The 2.2-liter F22C1 inline-four was factory rated at 237 horsepower at 7,800 rpm and 162 lb-ft of torque at 6,800 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential.
