The car is finished in black and features a black convertible soft top. The convertible top drive unit as well as the left and right flaps were replaced in November 2022. Dents in the left-rear fender and the left side of the convertible top cover as well as a faded hood badge and various other blemishes are shown in the gallery below.
The 19” Turbo wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza tires. Braking is handled by yellow Porsche-branded six- and four-piston front and rear calipers over ceramic-composite rotors measuring 13.8″ at each corner. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an automatic brake differential (ABD). The tire pressure monitoring sensors have been disabled.
The cabin features heated adaptive front seats upholstered in Dark Grey Natural leather that extends to the dashboard, center stack, and door panels. Interior amenities include the Carbon Package, body-color trim, a sport shifter, driver-seat memory settings, a wind deflector, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, automatic climate control, and cruise control. The cup holders and door panels were replaced and the center console was repainted in July 2020.
The aftermarket TechArt steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 55k miles, approximately 11k of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six has been modified with a Softronic ECU tune and a Soul Performance exhaust system. Service since August 2020 has included replacing the water pump, clutch components, rear main seal, drive belt, battery, and cabin air filter. An oil change was performed in March 2022.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, California, Nevada, Tennessee, and Texas. The vehicle was reacquired by the manufacturer in February 2015 reportedly due to burning oil, and subsequent “manufacturer buyback or lemon reported” title brands are listed in California and Texas.
