The 19” Turbo II wheels are mounted with 235/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires showing date codes from 2016. Braking is handled by yellow Porsche-branded six- and four-piston calipers over ceramic-composite rotors measuring 15″ and 13.8″ front and rear, respectively. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an automatic brake differential (ABD).
The cabin features heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats upholstered in Carrera Red natural leather that extends to the dashboard, center console, air vents, steering column, and door panels along with carbon-fiber trim and contrasting carpets. Features include driver-seat memory settings, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, and cruise control. The left-door armrest cover is delaminating and there is a stain on the driver-seat bottom.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer, as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 29k miles, approximately 1,400 of which were added under current ownership.
The twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six features direct fuel injection, VarioCam variable valve timing, and dynamic engine mounts. It was factory rated at 530 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed and the engine and cabin air filters were replaced in May 2021.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle. The 997 Turbo S featured Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) and a mechanically locking rear differential as standard.
