SP Engineering modified the twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 as part of the SPE950RX package, which included Carillo connecting rods and pistons, a ported and polished cylinder head, Tomei 274 camshafts, SPE valvetrain components, HKS metal head gaskets, Garret GTX dual ball-bearing turbochargers, a GReddy oil cooler, SPE downpipes, TiAL MV-R wastegates, an SPE intercooler system, a TiTek cold air intake, ID 2000cc injectors, triple fuel pumps, a flex fuel kit, and a COBB Accessport V3 with SPE calibration.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system that was modified by SP Engineering with a Driveshaft Shop rear axle kit and an SPE Stage 4 transmission kit which included an SPE billet clutch basket, SPE heavy duty gear set, SPE billet reverse/1st gear shift fork, SPE oil pump, and a TiTek rear differential brace. A GReddy transmission cooler and TiTek titanium exhaust were also installed.
