Staggered-width 17″ Buddy Bar Halibrand-style pin-drive wheels are finished in blue and are mounted with older Nitto NT555R tires. The car is equipped with a Heidts adjustable power steering system in addition to Pole Position Racing Products adjustable upper front control arms and adjustable PRO Shocks coilovers. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at all four corners with Mustang Cobra R-sourced front calipers.
The bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl upholstery, and Simpson five-point-capable harnesses have been installed for each occupant. Daytona-branded floor mats line the footwells, and appointments include air conditioning, a heater, a six-point roll cage, push-button ignition, and a fire suppression system.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts AutoMeter Phantom instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer. Auxiliary gauges are located in the center of the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 5k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added under current ownership. The dashboard is reportedly signed by Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe designer Peter Brock.
The fuel-injected 351ci Windsor V8 features an individual velocity stack intake manifold in addition to Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, an MSD ignition system, Simple Digital System engine management, a Canton oil pan, an aluminum radiator with an electric cooling fan, tubular headers, and a remote oil filter housing.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO-500 five-speed manual transmission and an 8.8″ Ford Motorsports rear end with an aluminum housing. An SFI bellhousing is installed, and additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
