Black-finished 18″ Halibrand-style wheels with red accents stripes are secured with safety-wired knock-off spinners and wear Nitto NT05 tires measuring 245/40 up front and 295/40 in the rear. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with red Wilwood calipers squeezing slotted rotors.
The low-back bucket seats and transmission tunnel are trimmed in black diamond-stitched upholstery. Additional appointments include a striped shift knob, an emergency power cutoff switch, push-button start, red Crow Racing Gear four-point harnesses, translucent sun visors, and carpeted floor mats with Backdraft Racing embroidery. A Clarion remote control located below the carbon-fiber dashboard is wired to four cabin speakers as well as a trunk-mounted amplifier and stereo. A fire extinguisher is also housed in the carpeted trunk.
The microsuede-wrapped Sparco steering wheel fronts carbon-look AutoMeter instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 1,700 miles, approximately 700 of which have been added under current ownership.
The Roush 427R V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold, an electric choke, MSD ignition system components, a remote oil filter, and a front-mount oil cooler. An oil change was completed approximately 700 miles ago.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission fitted with a Quick Time bellhousing.
A black tonneau cover, a matching soft top, and removable side curtains are included in the sale along with an assembly manual and wheel removal tools.
The vehicle information label issued in August 2016 by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair lists SB100 status and describes the car as a 1965 SPCNS Cobra. The current Minnesota lists the VIN as AE9BMAAH6G1MT1003, which matches the VIN shown above as well as the VIN listed on the Backdraft Racing data plate shown in the gallery below.
