The wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of a Shelby American-branded 8k-rpm tachometer and a 180-mph speedometer as well as gauges for water temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 33 miles.
The aluminum 482ci FE V8 is said to have been built with a stroker crankshaft, Cloyes true double roller timing set, a custom hydraulic roller camshaft, forged H-beam connecting rods, and Mahle pistons. Additional features include a Shelby dual-plane intake manifold, aluminum cylinder heads, a billet pulley and bracket system, an MSD distributor and ignition coil, and a Holley four-barrel carburetor housed within an aluminum “turkey pan”. Fluids were serviced in preparation for the sale according to the seller.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential equipped with 3.54:1 gearing.
The Shelby plaque mounted to the transmission tunnel denotes this car as a CSX6000 continuation example with serial number CSX6085.
