The 15″ Halibrand-style wheels have been refinished in white and are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle Sports Car Special tires that were installed under current ownership. The Unique Motorcars chassis features a Jaguar-style independent rear suspension setup with adjustable coilovers and four-wheel disc brakes with inboard-mounted rear rotors. The upper steering joint was replaced in March 2021.
The cabin is equipped with replacement black leather fixed-back bucket seats and matching carpets. Details include Impact lap belts, a fire extinguisher, a battery cut-off switch, and door pockets. The seller states the pedals have been adjusted for heel-and-toe shifting, and the door handles have been rebuilt.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Stewart-Warner instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for water temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows just over 2,700 miles, approximately 470 of which were added by the seller.
The 302ci V8 was reportedly built by McBetts Racing Associates of Holbrook, New York, and features Edelbrock cylinder heads, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and a Holley four-barrel carburetor. Additional equipment includes Shelby Cobra-style gray valve covers, an aluminum radiator, and an MSD 6AL ignition control box. Service under current ownership has consisted of installing an electric puller fan and replacing the spark plugs and wires, distributor cap, fuel line, battery, and upper coolant hose.
