The front end features a Pete & Jakes 4″ dropped beam axle, hairpin radius rods, and tubular shocks, while the four-link rear end is suspended by tubular shocks with height-adjustable coilover springs. Braking is handled by finned drums said to have been sourced from a 1957 Buick that are equipped with air scoops.
The cab features a bench seat reupholstered in red vinyl, and matching trim panels are fitted to the doors. Additional equipment includes wood trim, black carpeting, a floor-mounted handbrake, a Lokar shifter, and a rearview mirror.
A banjo-style steering wheel sits ahead of a body-color dashboard housing VDO instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. Total mileage is unknown, and the digital odometer shows 5 miles.
The 239ci Mercury flathead V8 features an Isky 400 camshaft, Edelbrock cylinder heads, and an Edelbrock triple-deuce intake manifold. Recent service reportedly consisted of rebuilding the three Stromberg 97 carburetors and changing the fluids.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed C-4 Flat-O-Matic automatic transmission with a kickdown kit, and the rear axle has been narrowed to 57″ and is equipped with a Halibrand quick-change rear end, six-spline crown cut gears, and Dana 44 31-spline axles.
