Braking is handled by retrofitted disc brakes up front in addition to drums out back. A Mustang II-style front suspension was fitted by the current owner, while the rear suspension is said to have been overhauled under previous ownership.
The cabin houses three rows of bench seating that were reupholstered in tan leather under current ownership and are joined by a matching headliner, door panels, and sun visors. Additional features include a body-color steel dashboard, a clock, red carpets and floor mats, front power windows, and a Vintage Air air-conditioning system as well as a modern-replica push-button AM/FM radio.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a horn ring and fronts a Dakota Digital VHX instrument cluster, which contains a 120-mph speedometer, an inset 8k-rpm tachometer with digital readouts, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer reads 1,100 miles, all of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 was reportedly installed under previous ownership, and it features tubular steel headers, an aftermarket electric fuel pump with a fuel pressure regulator, and a four-barrel carburetor with a chrome air filter cover.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a column-shifted four-speed automatic transmission, and the 8″ rear end was reportedly fitted with 3.55:1 gearing under previous ownership. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below.
Photos depicting various stages of the aforementioned refurbishment will accompany the car along with a shop manual and service records.
The replacement body tag was installed after the photo shoot and lists the car’s serial number as B1CS135860, which matches the VIN listed on the current Arizona title. The seller states that no other identification number on the car can be found.
