The factory inline-six was replaced with a small-block Ford V8 that was rebuilt and modified in 2017 to displace 331ci. Equipment consists of ARP main and head bolts, aluminum cylinder heads, hydraulic roller lifters, and a Holley Avenger 770-cfm carburetor. Additional work included replacing the oil pan, pushrods, pistons and rings, camshaft, oil and fuel pumps, gaskets, water pump, fuel tank, ignition components, wiring harness, and alternator.
