The body was finished in Bolero Red from the factory, and it was stripped and repainted during the project following replacement of the front fenders and repairs to the rear quarter panels, floors, and trunk. Features include a power-operated white convertible soft top, a hood with faux twin scoops, quad headlamps, and a dual exhaust system that exits behind the rear wheels. The seller states that the exterior was buffed and waxed after a paint chip on the door jamb was repaired in July 2022.
The 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome hubcaps and trim rings and are mounted with 235/60 front and 295/50 rear Yokohama Avid S/T tires. A full-size spare is stowed in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, headliner, and carpets. Features include a heater and defroster, a tilt steering column, polished door sills, retractable lap belts, floor vents, and manual windows as well as aftermarket speakers, a retro-style digital stereo unit, and a center console with an electric clock.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a sweeping 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. A tachometer with a turn-signal indicator is mounted on the left side of the instrument panel. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 65k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The seller states that the block was decked on the replacement 396ci V8 prior to its installation during current ownership. It is fitted with an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, HEI electronic ignition, and long-tube exhaust headers. Work since 2021 reportedly included replacing the battery and heater hoses and performing an oil change in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a replacement Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission and a Positraction rear axle with 3.07:1 gearing. Stamps and castings on the equipment are shown in the gallery.
