Work completed under current ownership includes lowering the ride height, installing power-assisted Baer four-wheel disc brakes and Bilstein shocks, and replacing the brake lines and front sway bar bushings.
The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Interior features include a center console, air conditioning, Pontiac-logo floor mats, and a push-button AM radio. An aftermarket driver’s seat rail was installed to accommodate a taller driver.
The three-spoke steering wheel features a ’68 center emblem and fronts a 160-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. Aftermarket gauges displaying coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows under 64k miles, approximately 800 of which have been added by the seller.
The replacement 402ci V8 was installed under prior ownership and is equipped with a replacement Holley Street Demon 750cfm carburetor. A Be Cool aluminum radiator is installed and assisted by dual electric fans. The oil was changed and the battery replaced in June 2022. Work completed in preparation for the sale is said to include jetting the carburetor and replacing the starter, distributor, and spark plugs.
