Finished from the factory in Medium Green Metallic (O), the body was removed from the frame and repainted metallic blue during current ownership, reportedly following rust repairs and replacement of the quarter panels, rocker panels, and floor pans. Exterior features include a removable white hardtop, chrome bumpers, and dual side-exit exhausts. A Bronco-branded Dennis Carpenter car cover is included in the sale.
White-painted 15” steel wheels are mounted with 31×10.5” Goodyear Wrangler tires, and a matching spare is fitted to the rear swing-out carrier. The truck is reportedly fitted with a Wild Horses 2.5” suspension lift, a 1” body lift, a Hellwig front sway bar, and a Borgeson power steering system, along with power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes.
The cabin houses Toms Offroad front bucket seats and a folding rear bench trimmed in white vinyl along with matching door panels. Kilmat insulation is said to have been added to the floors, firewall, and doors during the refurbishment, at which time the carpeting, headliner, and wiper motor were replaced. A RetroSound Huntington stereo is linked to Kicker speakers, and additional amenities include an aftermarket locking center console, front three-point seat belts, a Toms Offroad roll bar, a tilting steering column, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel.
Instrumentation consists of a 100-mph speedometer that features auxiliary gauges for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 12k miles, though total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 302ci V8 was reportedly bored .030″ over and built with a 10:1 compression ratio heads, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a Crane Energizer camshaft, long tube headers, an aluminum radiator, and an EFI distributor. The washer fluid reservoir and pump were replaced during the refurbishment.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, a Dana 20 dual-range transfer case with a Wild Horses twin-stick shifter, a Dana 30 front axle, and a 9″ rear end. The front and rear driveshafts have reportedly been replaced and a 23-gallon fuel tank has been installed.
