The non-sunroof body was fitted with steel RSR-style fender flares, a long metal hood, and Getty Design fiberglass bumpers prior to a repaint in gray during the build. Staggered Maxilite Fuchs-style wheels measure 9” in width up front and 11” out back and are mounted with Michelin TB15 tires. Braking is through StopTech discs and four-piston calipers at all four corners. Suspension modifications are said to include Tarrett Engineering sway bars and bushings, 23mm front torsion bars, and Bilstein adjustable rear coilovers with a reinforced crossmember. The seller notes that the car was aligned and corner-balanced by Black Forest Automotive of San Diego, California.
The cabin was reportedly re-upholstered by Escondido Custom Upholstery of Escondido, California and houses fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in dark red leather with bronze-finished metal ventilation grommets. RS-style door panels have been added, and the rear seats have been removed. The car is equipped with gray squareweave carpets, a Wevo shifter, Rennline floorboards, and a hidden Bluetooth stereo.
A leather-wrapped MOMO Prototipo steering wheel sits ahead of backdated VDO instrumentation that has reportedly been refurbished and is comprised of an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary displays. The six-digit odometer shows approximately 1k miles, though total chassis mileage is unknown.
The 3.6-liter flat-six was reportedly sourced from a 1991 Porsche 911 and rebuilt prior to its installation during current ownership by Kinninger Racing of Santee, California. Features include a body-color plastic intake manifold, 993-spec head studs, George’s European Racing headers, and a performance chip. Oil coolers have been added to the front bumper and in the passenger-side front fender well. Maintenance within the last 500 miles is said to have included re-torquing the head and adjusting the valves.
