Black 15″ Fuchs wheels have polished lips and are mounted with 185/70 front and 215/60 rear Avon Radial tires that were installed in October 2014. The car was equipped with Koni shocks from the factory.
The cabin features high-back seats trimmed in black leatherette as well as a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes power windows and a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio that was fitted in March 2020, when the door panels were also repaired following the removal of previously installed aftermarket audio components.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 45k miles.
The 2.7-liter flat-six was rated at 165 horsepower and 167 lb-ft of torque for the US market. The fuel pump and the battery were replaced in April 2021, and service in March 2020 included an oil change and replacing the spark plugs. Heater hoses and the under-hood pad were replaced in July 2016. Carrera tensioners were installed under previous ownership, and the results of March 2020 leak down and compression tests can be viewed in the gallery.
Engine stamping *6451982* is shown above and matches the engine number listed on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. A photograph of the transaxle stamping can be seen in the gallery below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and an optional limited-slip differential. The transaxle oil was changed in July 2016.
