The truck was refinished in red during a refurbishment that was completed in 2020, and additional work included repairing body panels and replacing the floors. Equipment includes a removable hardtop with a white roof, KC driving lights, a front-bumper-mounted high-lift jack, and a rear bumper integrating a receiver hitch, a jerrycan rack, and a swing-out tire carrier.
Aftermarket Method 17″ alloy wheels feature simulated bead-locks and are mounted with 35×12.50” BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs, and braking is provided by front discs and rear drums.
The cab features replacement Bestop bucket seats trimmed in black upholstery. A Tuffy Box center console houses a Pioneer head unit, and other equipment includes black rubber flooring, a rearview mirror, a Vintage Air heater, a dash pad, and Hertz 6×9″ and 6″ speakers along with a Hertz amplifier powering a 14″ JL subwoofer mounted underneath the driver seat. The rear jump seats have been removed, the headliner was replaced in 2021, and the seller states that the floors show corrosion.
A three-spoke Grant steering wheel frames replacement Dakota digital instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer shows less than 2k miles and was fitted in 2020. Approximately 2,500 miles have been added under current ownership, and true chassis mileage is unknown.
The GM-sourced 350ci V8 was reportedly installed in 2001. Modifications carried out during the most recent refurbishment includes fitting an MSD Atomic EFI fuel-injection system and replacing the intake manifolds, head gaskets, and wiring harness, as well as much of the chassis wiring.
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
