A leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows under 37k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and is equipped with an HKS exhaust system and Comptech polished stainless steel headers, along with a polished catch can, a fuse box cover, stainless steel dress-up kit, and a mesh and carbon fiber engine cover. The timing belt is said to have been replaced at 29k miles, while the coolant hoses were reportedly replaced previously. An oil change was performed and the fuel and air filters were replaced in October 2020.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch assembly and throw-out bearing are said to have been replaced previously. A photo showing transaxle serial number J4A4-1001954 is provided in the gallery, indicating that the unit falls outside the snap ring failure range.
The window sticker features a Shigeru Uehara signature and shows original delivery to Paula R. Bouchard Auto Sales of Auburn, Massachusetts, along with included equipment and a Total price of $61,600. Additional extras included with the sale include manufacturer’s literature, dealer-optional lambskin seat covers, a red leather nose cover, mirror covers, and the removed factory timing belt and exhaust system, car phone, and engine cover.
