Staggered-width 17″ sawblade alloy wheels are mounted with 275/40 front and 315/35 rear Goodyear Eagle tires. The ZR-1 was equipped with the three-mode Selective Ride and Handling package, which was designed in consultation with Lotus and featured Bilstein shock absorbers. Braking is handled by anti-lock disc brakes at all four corners. The front-left wheel is scratched.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport bucket seats upholstered in red leather along with matching carpets and door panels. Amenities include cruise control, air conditioning, an onboard computer, a tire pressure warning system, a Delco Bose Gold Series sound system with CD and cassette players, and power windows, mirrors, and locks.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central digital speedometer and fuel readout flanked by an analog tachometer and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer indicates 68 miles.
The all-aluminum 5.7-liter LT5 DOHC V8 was co-designed by GM and Lotus and built by Mercury Marine. Output was rated at 375 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque when new. The selling dealer notes recent replacements of the fuel pump and battery as well as an oil change.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF six-speed manual transmission.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Ron Westphal Chevrolet in Aurora, Illinois, and lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total vehicle price of $65,638.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage, two open safety recalls related to the seatbelt retractors, and lists history in Illinois and Florida.
