The car left the factory in Competition Yellow Mica (J9) and was repainted in 2019 following installation of a front bumper, rear wing, and taillights sourced from a 1999 model. Additional modifications include a Shine Auto carbon-fiber front lip spoiler and rear wing blade as well as body-color side skirts and rear spats. The Carfax report states in a July 1999 entry that damage to the left-front of the vehicle was incurred when the car hit a guardrail.

Polished 17″ Volk Racing GTP-C wheels are mounted with Sumitomo tires that measure 255/40 up front and 275/40 out back. Braking is provided by four-wheel anti-lock discs with red Mazda-branded calipers up front. The suspension has been modified with installation of HKS adjustable coilovers.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black microsuede trim accompanied by a center console and dash surround that are said to have been sourced from a 1994 model. Additional equipment includes an AM/FM cassette stereo, air conditioning, cruise control, Garage Alpha floor mats, a JP3 Motorsports short throw shifter, and a Spirit R shift knob, shift boot, e-brake boot, and e-brake handle.
The three-spoke steering wheel is said to have been sourced from a 2000 model and features a Mazda “Flying M” badge. Instrumentation consists of a central tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 57k miles, approximately 6k of which have been added under current ownership.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The car features a GReddy catback exhaust with a stainless-steel downpipe.
