Multi-piece 18” Kinesis wheels are mounted with older Yokohama slicks that are said to be in need of replacement. The car rides on a Heim-joint suspension with remote-reservoir JRZ adjustable coilovers and TGR upper strut mounts. Braking is handled by black Porsche-branded four-piston calipers with Pagid yellow-compound pads over cross-drilled and ventilated discs at all four corners. The ABS system has been retained but is not connected to power, according to the seller.
The interior has been stripped and fitted with a roll cage with knee and door bars accompanied by dual Kirkey fixed-back bucket seats. The driver’s seat features head supports and a Schroth multi-point harness, while a Safecraft harness is equipped for the passenger. The dash cover and door panels are constructed of carbon fiber, and a Braille AGM battery is installed within the passenger-side footwell. Additional equipment includes a Halon fire suppression system, a Blue Sea Systems electrical switch panel, a Rennline dead pedal, a Vosstek pedal set, a multi-pane rear-view mirror, and red fabric door pulls.
A MOMO steering wheel is affixed to a quick-release hub and frames an AiM digital display with integrated shift lights and data-logging capability. No odometer is installed, and total mileage is unknown.
A 27-gallon Fuel Safe aluminum fuel cell is installed within the front trunk and features a dual dry-break quick-release filler setup. The seller recommends replacing the fuel hoses and o-rings.
According to the seller, the 4.0L flat-six was built by Pacific Power Motorsports of Walnut Creek, California, and features a pinned and boat-tailed case as well as a knife-edged crankshaft, Carrilo connecting rods, 12.5:1-compression JE pistons, and LN Engineering cylinders. Additional equipment includes MoTeC engine management, individual throttle bodies, solid aluminum engine mounts, dual front-mounted oil coolers, and a custom exhaust system with a Burns stainless-steel muffler and removable SuperTrapp baffles. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a G50 six-speed manual transaxle with close-ratio straight-cut gears and a Guard Transmission limited-slip differential with an aluminum cover plate. Other features include an RS-spec flywheel and clutch assembly, an external fluid cooler, a Tilton electric gear oil pump, a short-throw shifter, and solid aluminum transaxle mounts. The seller recommends replacing the transaxle synchros.
The Carfax report indicates that the car was declared a total loss in 1996, displays a potential odometer rollback in 2000, and lists Not Actual Mileage title issuances in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004.
