Hollow-spoke 18″ Turbo Twist wheels were added by the seller and are wrapped in 225/40 front and 285/30 rear Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires that were mounted in July 2021. The car is equipped with a front strut tower brace, Bilstein PSS10 coil-over dampers, front camber plates, and red Porsche-branded calipers with cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The power steering reservoir and front sway bar links were replaced August 2021 in conjunction with a pre-purchase inspection. The removed factory suspension parts are included in the sale.
The cabin features black leather seats along with matching door panels and carpets. Equipment includes height-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, cruise control, the Hi-Fi Sound Package, and a Becker Porsche CD stereo. Service to the air-conditioning system in August 2021 included recharging the refrigerant and replacing the seals, dryer, and fan belt. The seller notes that the factory jack is missing from the trunk.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, auxiliary gauges, and an analog clock. The six-digit odometer shows 78k miles, approximately 29k of which were added by the seller in 16 years.
The 3.6-liter flat-six features a VarioRam induction system and was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. Aluminum lower valve covers are installed and the removed factory plastic units are included in the sale. Don Wise’s Autowerks in Campbell, California replaced the fuel filter and changed the engine oil in August 2021.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. The front differential fluid was changed in August 2021, and additional underside photos can be seen in the gallery below.
