The 18″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with 225/40 front and 265/40 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires showing 2021 date codes. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. Work in 2022 included flushing the brake fluid in addition to replacing the power-steering fluid, two axle boots, and a power-steering hose.
The interior features power-adjustable bucket seats trimmed in tan leather, which extends to the door panels and lower portion of the dashboard. Amenities include power windows and locks, a fire extinguisher, carpeted floor mats, automatic climate control, and a factory cassette player. The top portion of the dashboard has been reupholstered and the interior switchgear and vents were refurbished in 2022. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel sits ahead of paddle shifters and instrumentation that includes a 200-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 24k miles, approximately 19k of which have been added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication and was factory rated at 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. An engine-out service in 2022 consisted of flushing the coolant, rebuilding the water pump, changing the oil, and replacing the timing belts, coolant hoses, engine and transaxle mounts, air filters, fuel filters, drive belts, and battery. Three replacement ECUs were fitted in 2009, and additional service records and receipts are provided in the gallery.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through an electrohydraulically operated six-speed F1 transaxle. A replacement clutch assembly was fitted in 2012, while the F1 hydraulic actuator was replaced in 2003.
Manufacturer’s literature, leather cases, a toolset, floor mats, a tote bag, and interior covers are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration activity in California. The car passed a California emissions test in April 2022.
