Stopping power is provided by anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes featuring Baer calipers over slotted and cross-drilled rotors.
The cabin features front sport seats upholstered in Dark Charcoal leather and joined by body-color trim on the gauge surround, center console, and door panels. A serialized plaque adorns the center stack, and additional amenities include cruise control, air conditioning, a CD stereo, a Pioneer flip-out display screen with navigation, and a Mach 460 sound system. The factory stereo accompanies the car.
The leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel frames Saleen instrumentation, including a 200-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. An intercooler temperature gauge and a boost pressure gauge are mounted in a pod above the center stack. The digital odometer indicates 30k miles, approximately 800 of which were added under current ownership.
Saleen plaques affixed to the engine bay and center console identify the car as the 191st S281 produced for the 2000 model year.
The supercharged and intercooled 4.6-liter V8 is equipped with body-color valve covers and a performance exhaust system with Saleen mufflers.

The window sticker shows initial delivery to Sill-Terhar Motors in Broomfield, Colorado, and lists factory colors, options, equipment, and a suggested retail price of $43,180. Manufacturer’s literature, a Saleen owner’s registry certificate, a convertible top boot cover, a car cover, a factory stereo, two keys, and Saleen accessories accompany the car.
