Silver 18″ Turbo-look wheels are mounted using 15mm wheel spacers and wear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires measuring 225/40 up front and 265/35 in the rear. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD). Braking is from vented and cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. A Bilstein coilover suspension system has been installed along with stainless-steel brake lines and Tarett Engineering adjustable sway bar links.
The heated power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in supple black leather, and the seller notes that matching leather on the dashboard shows signs of lifting. Dark burl wood and aluminum inlays accent the shift knob and brake handle, and features include driver-seat memory settings, front-seat lumbar support, leather-covered sun visors, a self-dimming rear-view mirror, and Porsche Communication Management with navigation, a six-disc CD changer, and a Nokia hi-fi sound system. A Lo-Jack anti-theft system has been installed, and there is a blemish in the center dash near the front windshield.
The leather- and wood-trimmed steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, and fuel level. The gauge cluster was replaced under warranty in 2004 due to a faulty clock. The digital odometer indicates 41k miles, approximately 600 of which were added under current ownership. The seller notes cracks are present in the steering wheel wood trim.
The 3.4-liter M96 flat-six has been modified with REVO engine management software, a BMC air filter, and an IPD intake manifold. The IMS bearing was replaced in April 2014 with a dual-row LN Engineering kit, and accompanying documentation is provided in the gallery. An oil change was most recently performed in 2022, and the Carfax report indicates the car most recently passed California emissions testing in February 2022.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. A Porsche short-shift kit and CARGRAPHIC exhaust system have been installed, and a flush of the gear oil and differential fluid was performed in 2022.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Newport Beach Cars in Newport Beach, California, as well as factory colors, equipment, options, and a total price of $109,220.
