The body is finished in Collector Yellow and is accented by silver and gray stripes on the hood, doors, and quarter panels. Equipment includes a power-operated black soft top with a matching boot cover along with functional hood scoops, power mirrors, a power antenna, a rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets.
Optional 17″ alloy wheels with black-finished centers wear 275/40 Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. The car is equipped with the WS6 suspension package, a power-steering cooler, and an optional traction control system.
The cabin features seats upholstered in Ebony leather with embroidered Firebird logos and Collector Edition lettering on the front headrests. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, keyless entry, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, an optional leather-wrapped Hurst shift knob, a factory CD stereo, and an eight-speaker sound system.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 155-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates just under 825 miles.
The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 is equipped with a Ram Air intake system and a low-restriction dual exhaust system, and power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip Torsen differential. The oil was most recently changed in May 2005, and the battery was replaced in preparation for the sale.
