Staggered-width 18″ GT3 wheels wear 235/40 front and 295/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that were installed in November 2021. Braking is from Porsche-branded calipers over ventilated rotors at each corner. The GT3 features a lower sport-tuned suspension compared to the standard Carrera model. The front and rear struts were replaced and an alignment was performed in January 2022.
The interior is upholstered in black leather that extends from the power-adjustable sport seats to the dashboard and door panels. Additional appointments include a body-color-painted center console, body-color front-seat backs, GT3-branded metal door sill plates, automatic climate control, and a CD stereo. The seller notes scratches in the leather on the driver’s side armrest of the interior door panel.
The factory-optioned three-spoke thicker steering wheel frames aluminum-look instrumentation including a central tachometer with an 8,200-rpm redline, a 200-mph speedometer, and gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 18k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six is equipped with a two-stage resonance intake system, dry-sump lubrication, VarioCam variable valve timing, and titanium connecting rods. Factory-rated output was 375 horsepower and 284 lb-ft of torque when new. The ignition coils and hood struts were replaced in November 2021.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. Additional underside images can be viewed in the gallery.
The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists factory colors and equipment along with a production date of April 23, 2004.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with recent service records and three keys. A DME report has been placed in the gallery.
