Braking is handled by Porsche-branded six- and four-piston front and rear calipers over rotors measuring 13.8″ at each corner. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as well as Porsche Stability Management (PSM) with an automatic brake differential (ABD). The rear brakes were serviced at approximately 27k miles, according to the selling dealer. Blemishes on two of the wheels are documented in the gallery below.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable seats upholstered in black leather. Features include driver-seat memory settings, Porsche-branded door entry guards in carbon fiber, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 225-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The optional Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 28k miles.
The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six was factory rated at 480 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The Sport Chrono Package allows the 997.1 Turbo to overboost for up to 10 seconds, increasing peak rated torque to 505 ft-lb. The Carfax report notes that the oil was changed at approximately 27k miles and that the battery was replaced in January 2022.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle.
