All RS 60 models were finished in GT Silver Metallic, and this example features a power-operated red convertible top. Additional equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, a SportDesign front lower valance, a rear spoiler, a gloss black windshield surround, body-color roll bars, and dual center exhaust outlets. The gears for the soft top mechanism were reportedly lubricated in preparation for the sale.
The 19″ SportDesign wheels were fitted with 5mm spacers from the factory and wear 235/35 front and 265/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that were installed in September 2022. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) were standard equipment. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors measuring 12.5″ and 11.8″ front and rear, respectively.
The cabin features heated seats upholstered in Carrera Red leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard and carpets. Amenities include a wind deflector, automatic climate control, cruise control., a CD stereo, and a Bose High End sound system. The Sport Chrono Package adds a Sport button and a dash-mounted lap timer. A serialized plate on the glovebox door denotes the car as #1,933 of 1,960 RS 60 Spyders produced.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a hoodless instrument cluster housing a central 8k-rpm tachometer, a 190-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 42k miles, approximately 14k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.4L flat-six is located ahead of the rear cargo area and was factory rated at 303 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque. The seller states that the spark plugs were replaced and the engine oil and coolant were changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. The RS 60 Spyder featured a revised sports exhaust system from the factory.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale.
