The exterior is finished in Blade Silver Metallic with unpainted carbon fiber on the roof, splitter, and rocker extensions. The carbon fiber hood and fenders are finished in silver, with unpainted carbon visible on the underside of the hood. The top of the supercharged 6.2L LS9 V8 is visible through a polycarbonate window in the hood.
The 19″ front and 20″ rear chrome alloy wheels are fitted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Magnetic Select Ride Control and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes were standard equipment on the ZR1, as were oil, transmission, and differential coolers. The brake fluid was changed in July 2019.
The cabin features power-adjustable bucket seats upholstered in Ebony leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. The car was optioned with the 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, which added heated seats with position memory settings along with a power-adjustable steering column, steering wheel audio controls, Bose sound system, navigation, six-disc CD stereo, and Bluetooth compatibility. Additional amenities include Keyless Access, push-button start, a head-up display, cruise control, and automatic climate control.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, boost, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates under 1,300 miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The supercharged and intercooled 6.2-liter LS9 V8 features a dry-sump lubrication system and was factory rated at 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque. The oil and clutch fluid were changed in July 2019.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
