The GTS features a revised front apron with larger cooling intakes, a black rear lower diffuser, a reflective strip between the taillights, and wider bodywork that is shared with the contemporary Carrera 4S. This example is finished in Platinum Silver Metallic with an optional body-color front lower lip spoiler and side skirts. Black 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 235/35 up front and 305/30 at the rear with a mix of 2017, 2018, and 2021 date codes. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded four-piston calipers over 13″ cross-drilled and vented rotors. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM), an automatic brake differential (ABD), and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with a ride height that is lowered by 10mm when compared with the standard Carrera. The center-lock wheel hubs were cleaned in 2018.
The cabin features heated, ventilated, and 12-way power-adjustable front comfort seats upholstered in black leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels. Equipment includes cruise control, automatic climate control, a leather shifter surround, Coco floor mats, PCM with navigation, satellite radio, and a Bose sound system.
The heated three-spoke multifunction steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 7,400-rpm redline as well as a 200-mph speedometer and gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates approximately 18k miles, 5k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.8-liter flat-six was factory rated at 408 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque in the GTS, an increase of 23 horsepower over the contemporary Carrera S. The engine-cover latch was replaced in 2017 and the engine oil was changed in September 2021.
Power is sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle. The Carrera 4 GTS was equipped from the factory with a sport exhaust system.
The window sticker lists factory colors and equipment, initial delivery to Porsche of West Houston in Houston, Texas, and a total price of $127,745.
Trophies awarded to the car are included in the sale along with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a battery conditioner, a car cover, two keys, and the removed stock front side marker lenses.
